Welcome to Quarter I and Mr. W's Teaching Pages for School Year 2012/2013
Reminder
ELA students take note: There is now a box near the door of the classroom. THIS BOX CONTAINS WRITING ASSIGNMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN REJECTED FOR NOT MEETING ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS. They have been recorded in the gradebook as "MSG" (which averages as a zero), and will remain "MSG" until they are resubmitted in an acceptable form. These MSG grades impact your quarter average IMMENSELY! CORRECT YOUR WORK AND TURN THEM BACK IN TO MR. WALRATH IN PERSON!
There is NO FOOD OR DRINK IN 201. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS RESTRICTION WILL RESULT IN A DISCIPLINARY REFERRAL.
This site is one of several different resources students in Mr. Walrath's various classes have available to succeed in their classes. The pages here are focused on the Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, and Drama curriculum.
Students should visit their class page before every class session. Sometimes events take place that change our plans, and these will be noted on the class page.
You can always find your homework assignments in two different locations: this site (in the individual class pages) and on Mr. W's GradeSpeed page. I do attempt to have your assignments in GradeSpeed at least a week before they are assigned, and I do attempt to have your marked assignments posted on GradeSpeed within 3 class periods of being turned in. Note: near the end of the quarter, this might not happen, due to the load of papers to evaluate, but I will get them done as rapidly as possible.
